It’s the age-old wedding debate: Do you sit old Auntie Mary (who hates everyone and everything) next to intense Uncle Max (who only talks about Vietnam) or do you sit her by Donna, your frenemy from work who takes credit for your ideas and always smells like stale Cheetos. Either way — all three of them are going to the dud table. Every wedding has one. Mine sure as HELL did, but shhhh don’t tell anyone.
Choosing the perfect seating arrangement that encourages awesome conversation and also helps your quiet guests come out of their shell can be VERY challenging. So, for this Freebie Friday we have decided to give your guests a little help with our fun icebreaker place cards!
These place cards have a customizable initials design and a blank icebreaker form on the back. Write each guest’s name on the front (with their table number) and then describe who is sitting to the right and left of them on the back. Sharing a fun fact about each guest will get the conversation flowing (see our example, above).
Just print, fold and enjoy! We recommend printing these cards on white or cream heavy card stock.
